Press hardening
Hot Stamping Hydraulic Presses for Press Hardening
Fast closing, accurate holding force and stable die cooling for ultra high strength automotive components.

Hot stamping presses for ultra high strength parts
Hot stamping forms a heated boron steel blank and quenches it inside the die, producing lightweight parts with very high strength. Success depends on how quickly the press closes, how accurately it holds force during quenching and how consistently the dies are cooled.
Our hot stamping presses are configured with fast approach, controlled forming and holding force, and integration with furnace, transfer and laser trimming for a complete press hardening line used in automotive structural parts.
Key capabilities
Fast closing
Rapid approach and forming to protect blank temperature before quenching.
Stable holding force
Accurate pressure while the part quenches in the die for consistent hardness.
Die cooling support
Layouts that support water-cooled dies and short, repeatable cycle times.
Line integration
Furnace, transfer system and trimming integrated into one automated line.

Frequently asked questions
What is hot stamping?
Hot stamping, or press hardening, forms a heated steel blank in a cooled die and quenches it to produce high strength, lightweight parts.
Which parts are made by hot stamping?
Common examples include automotive pillars, bumper beams, door intrusion beams and roof reinforcements.
Do you supply the complete line?
Presses can be integrated with furnaces, transfer systems and trimming equipment to form a complete line.
